Cement grade bentonite; permits high mix water addition to cement without water separation, added from 2% to 16% BWOC.

GEX 200

Gilsonite; extender/lost circulation material; 5 to 50 lb./sk of cement effective to 380°F (193°C).

GEX 210

Ground coal; extender/lost circulation material; 5 to 50 lb./sk of cement effective to + 288°F (550°C).

GEX 300

Artificial pozzolan; utilized to create lead and tail-in cement designs at 25, 33, 50 and 65% concentration with Portland cement; high thermal stability above 110°F (230°C).

GEX 400

Silicate extender/accelerator; can increase the yield of a sack of cement by 200% to 250% without separation; use range is 0.5 to 3.0% BWOC.

GEX 410

Liquid silicate extender/accelerator; sea water or light salt brine mix water; use range is 0.15 to 0.75 gal/sk.

GEX 420

Expansive, volcanic glass extender; creates low permeability cement, expands 4 to 20 times when heated to its softening point, use level is 0.5 to 2 ft2/sk cement.

GEX 430

Diatomaceous earth extender; low compressive strength development; is effective at 10 to 40% BWOC.

GLO-LITE

Ultra-lite alumina micro-spheres; effective in wells having up to 6,000 psi overburden pressure, slurry densities from 9.0 to 13.0 lb./gal.
